Job Summary
As the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, you will:
Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on service options
Ensure a seamless service experience from arrival to vehicle pickup
Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services based on vehicle condition
Provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance services
Manage service appointments and follow up with customers regarding vehicle status
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation of all sales
Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and sales transactions
Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership promotions to provide informed recommendations

Requirements
Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a dealership or automotive environment
At least 2 years' experience in a dealership service environment (required)
At least 3 years' experience in sales or customer-facing roles (required)
Strong sales skills with a track record of upselling products or services
Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is highly desirable
Proficiency with dealership systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
High-level proficiency in English equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or higher for reading, writing, and communicating effectively on the phone is essential
Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills
G2 licence or higher (required)
Clean Drivers Abstract (required)
Clean Criminal Records Check (required)
