Position Overview

As part of the front-line staff this position is responsible for ensuring that ALL customers are provided with top-notch service, consultation and explanation of required / recommended services as well as sales and scheduling.

Provide exceptional service while effectively communicating the customer needs to the technicians. Your ability to provide knowledgeable advice will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

Customer Service - ensure that all customers are greeted and welcomed to our shop. offering assistance and information when / if required. Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed. Manage service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their vehicles. Invoicing - responsible for ensuring that all invoicing is accounted for and appropriate monies have been collected/processed Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the service process.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting. Strong sales skills with a track record of selling products or services. Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer satisfaction. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail. Previous experience as a mechanic or in an automotive repair role is a plus but not mandatory. Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to +50 lbs. Must be available to work full time, 5 days a week + overtime when required
