Duties
Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and present tailored financing options that align with their goals.
Facilitate loan approval processes by analyzing credit reports, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance
Collaborate with lenders and financial institutions to secure competitive loan terms for customers.
Upsell additional financial products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and service plans to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Manage all aspects of loan processing, including title processing, contract preparation, and documentation accuracy using specialized financial software.
Negotiate terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to dealership policies and legal standards.
Maintain excellent customer relationships through consistent follow-up, personalized service, and transparent communication throughout the sales process.
Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility and recommend appropriate financing solutions.
Ensure all deals comply with federal regulations and dealership policies related to credit and contract management.
Support the sales team by providing training on finance products, negotiation techniques, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Finance Manager within an automotive dealership or related financial services environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, credit analysis, loan processing, and contract management.
Familiarity with financial software systems used in dealerships for title processing, credit reporting, and deal tracking.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency.
Exceptional customer relationship management skills to build trust and loyalty with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Understanding of legal requirements governing consumer credit disclosures.
Experience in dealership operations including automobile sales procedures, title processing, and contract creation.
