Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and mechanical knowledge, with experience in using hand tools and power tools. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs Use hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components Align frames and body panels using specialized equipment Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to auto body work Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
