Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Auto Body Prepper

to prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that surfaces are properly prepared, contributing to the overall quality of our repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Sand, mask, and prime vehicles to ensure smooth and flawless surfaces for painting.

Inspection:

Examine vehicles for imperfections, scratches, or dents that require repair.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the paint team to ensure proper color matching and application techniques.

Maintenance:

Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.

Tool Proficiency:

Utilize various tools and equipment effectively for auto body preparation.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an auto body prepper or in a similar role within the automotive collision repair industry. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify imperfections in surfaces. Proficient in using tools required for auto body preparation, including spray guns and sanding equipment. Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation methods.
Skills:
