Centennial Carstar Truro is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Auto Body Prepper!

Auto Body Prepper

LOCATION:

Centennial Carstar, Truro, NS

HOURS:

Full time, Permanent. Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week.

WAGES:

$16.50 - $21.50 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience)

THE PERFECT FIT:

You're a motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and customer service focused individual who works well in a team environment. You have previous experience as an automotive prepper, or experience in a similar field, and your mission is to always provide ultimate customer satisfaction.

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

Must be reliable and show initiative Applicant must be capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment Valid Canadian driver's license You are physically capable of doing the job which includes frequently bending, crouching, reaching. You are also able to handle tools and lift approximately 50lbs. Previous experience is necessary. Additional training will be provided.

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare the vehicle for paint after the Body Technicians finish the repairs to a vehicle. Sanding Application of primer base coat colour and clear coat Masking of vehicles Moving vehicles in and out of shop Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions Safety is paramount - you contribute and adhere to a safe and responsible workplace
