Here\xe2\x80\x99s our story: jobs.td.com Department Overview The Strategic Governance team is a fast-paced innovative team that aims to transform Wealth Advice by simplifying and ultimately changing the way we work. We focus on championing the client, colleague advisor experience through intake, assessment, prioritization, delivery, and closed loop feedback producing strategic and pragmatic solutions to enable business growth. Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Initiatives, the Associate Manager will be primarily responsible for partnering with Senior Advice Leaders, PWM colleagues, Wealth Finance, and other key stakeholders to facilitate the development and execution of the business strategy for the Wealth Advice businesses. We are seeking a strategic thought leader to fill the role of Associate Manager, Strategic Initiatives. This role requires an individual who can problem solve, show strong judgment, and execute, driving positive change through critical thinking, innovation, and financial management. This role will support a key strategic pillar in Wealth Advice which is focused on building and scaling P&L discipline across the business. The role focuses on driving financial discipline in Wealth Advice through several key activities:
Maximizing business profitability/shareholder value:
Identifying revenue and expense levers within the business
Ensuring all in-flight and new initiatives in Wealth Advice are driving positive P&L impact and adding shareholder value
Partnering with National Office & Wealth Shared Services partners to track activities driving Productivity & Revenue Optimization
Partner with Finance partners to manage P&L impact of tracked activities
Report progress of tracked activities to Senior Advice Leadership
Business Planning & Reporting:
Support in building the 5-year aspirational growth model for Wealth Advice
Represent the business when partnering with Wealth Finance on financial reporting activities including but not limited to quarterly forecasting, yearly business plan & medium-term outlook (MTO)
Partner with Advice line of businesses to analyze and provide insights on their growth opportunities and efficient ways to scale their business
Other key accountabilities including but not limited to:
Promoting financial fundamentals across National Office \xe2\x80\x93 Support National Office partners in building better business cases and telling the full strategic story (client/colleague/shareholder)
Workforce Management \xe2\x80\x93 Provides business and performance reporting to enable effective business and workforce planning as well as executive decision support. Act as financial management liaison between the function and Finance, or business case development / tracking.
Facilitate key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output is roadmap and/or strategic plan/ deliverables/frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
Work effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as needed

Knowledge and Qualifications
Knowledge of the Wealth Advice businesses would be an Asset
Proven proficiency with MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint
Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Commerce. CFA Program Candidacy would be an asset.
