The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with experience in cake decorating and food preparation. The Pastry will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our baked goods, contributing to an inviting and memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity, ensuring attractive presentation Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment Assist with food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and assembling baked goods Package baked items for display or take-out orders while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Follow all food handling protocols and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards Maintain organized workstations and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored

Requirements

Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; restaurant experience is a plus Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, cooking, and food handling Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests when needed Kitchen experience within the food industry preferred Passion for baking, creativity in pastry presentation, and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required
