Job Description

Joe Beeverz is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in the restaurant industry. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive work environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to provide outstanding service.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.

Customer Service:

Maintain a high standard of customer service by ensuring that all guests are welcomed and their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and find appropriate solutions.

Operational Excellence:

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and overall presentation to maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.

Training and Development:

Provide ongoing training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Identify areas for improvement and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service orientation. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards. Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively. Proficiency in computer applications related to restaurant management and point of sale (POS) systems. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
