  • Assist the Asset Management group with data collection, review, verification and entry into the asset database.
  • Review engineering drawings to identify assets.
  • Perform site visits to ascertain asset type and location as needed.
  • Create/upload or link asset artifacts (photos, drawings) as needed into the asset database.
  • Create Master and/or Uni format entries for each of the assets.





Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or Technology or Computer Science.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • A valid Class 5 Driver\'s License (or provincial equivalent) and the use of personal vehicle may be required.

  • Previous experience in integrating Power BI and creation of Power BI dashboards will be assets.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to details are required for success in this role.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.

  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).





Pre-employment Drug Test: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.

Compensation: $26.63 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.




Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
