Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Asphalt Paver / Spreader Operator

to join our crew for commercial and residential paving projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating paving equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

Operate asphalt paver/spreader safely and effectively for driveways, parking lots, and roadways Spread, level, and smooth asphalt to proper depth and grade specifications Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work closely with the crew to ensure quality finishes and efficient job completion Follow all health & safety standards and company procedures Assist with other paving duties when required

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Asphalt Paver/Spreader Operator (minimum 5 years preferred) Strong understanding of paving operations, grades, and compaction requirements Ability to read site plans and follow instructions from foreman/supervisor Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license (AZ/DZ license is an asset but not required) Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship
