Asphalt Spreader Operator - Experienced



We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Asphalt Spreader Operator

with experience operating

CAT asphalt pavers

and using

automatic grade and slope control systems

. This role involves

leading a paving crew

and working in

active, fast-paced job sites

to ensure high-quality paving results.

Please note: This position requires regular travel across Ontario.

You must be

comfortable being on the road for extended periods

(days or weeks at a time). All accommodations are provided by the company while working out of town.

Key Responsibilities:



Operate CAT pavers with automatic grade and slope controls Maintain consistent mat quality and paving efficiency Lead or coordinate with crew members on-site Communicate with foremen and site supervisors to meet job timelines grease lube and daily machine maintenance

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience operating CAT or equivalent paving equipment Familiarity with grade and slope automation systems Ability to read and interpret job specs, grades, and site layouts Strong leadership and team coordination skills Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and nights when required Comfortable traveling and living on-site during remote projects
