Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Paver / Spreader Operator

to join our paving team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating paving equipment to lay asphalt on roadways, driveways, and parking lots while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality finishes.

Responsibilities

Safely operate asphalt paver/spreader equipment to apply asphalt material at proper depth and grade Monitor paving operation to maintain a consistent flow of material and smooth, even surface Coordinate with rakers, roller operators, and other crew members to achieve proper compaction and finish Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance (greasing, cleaning, checking fluids, etc.) Communicate effectively with the paving crew and site supervisor to complete projects on schedule Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures
Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience operating asphalt paver/spreader equipment Knowledge of asphalt paving procedures, grades, and slope control Ability to read site layouts, grades, and job specifications Strong teamwork and communication skills Physically capable of working long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites Experience with other paving/construction equipment (rollers, skid steers, etc.) is an asset
