Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker Level 2 certification min to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely removing hazardous materials from various environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with both hand and power tools, and a commitment to restoring spaces to their original condition. We do have housing if needed.

Duties

• Safely remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and mold from residential and commercial properties.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to facilitate the abatement process.
• Clean and restore affected areas post-abatement, ensuring all debris is properly disposed of according to regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Conduct thorough inspections of work areas before and after abatement activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, demolition, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for performing tasks effectively.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to hazardous material handling.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications related to hazardous material abatement.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
