JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to grow our team with a talented, creative and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist, Junior Architect, or Architectural Designer who is passionate about private residential home design, interior architecture and interior design.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Coordinate and conduct client meetings to assess needs and requirements

-Establish project program and design concepts

-Creation and refinement of architectural drawings with accuracy

-Creating technical content including details

-Maintain high standard of design throughout project including ensuring design intent is maintained during build stage

-Assist with resolving design challenges as required during stages of design and build

-Manage individual time and deadlines

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

-

Degree/Diploma in a recognized Architectural Technologist Program or degree in Architecture

-Must be creative and able to work independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines

-Outstanding customer service and spoken/written communication skills

-Use AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office programs proficiently

-A portfolio of work ideally focused on private residential projects and/or interior design

-Possesses good space planning/ layout skills

-Prior local experience in residential design would be an asset

-Canadian experience is required

EXPERIENCE:

5+ years' experience working in residential field (required)

3+ years' experience with AutoCAD (required)

3+ years' experience with Sketchup (required)

Ability to relocate or commute:

M5A 1J7, Toronto(required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
