A day in the life:

• Deliver quality architectural projects while working in a collaborative environment with ability to think outside the box
• Assist with business development initiatives and proposals
• Assist project managers and principals with development of project budgets and schedules
• Ensure projects are completed with high levels of design and technical competency
• Embracing and promoting our key corporate values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration and Knowledge, as well as environmental and social sustainability

What you\'ll bring to A49...

• 5-10 years post-qualification experience in Architecture and Construction Industry.
• Strong design portfolio
• Registration with OAA or other Canadian Architectural Association is an asset, but must be eligible for registration
• A good communicator; able to clearly and confidently present to clients, authorities, and the public
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to assess and prioritize tasks
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code.
• Experience preparing Contract Documents
• Experience managing projects through all phases on medium to large size projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other BIM tools an asset
• LEED Accreditation (with BD+C Specialty) an asset
