AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architect to be responsible for architectural design of projects within the Whitby, ON; Toronto, ON; Markham, ON office. The role is open to remote work, or hybrid remote work with some days worked out of our offices.

Major Responsibilities:
+ The job incumbent will be responsible for the architectural design as well as some planning, coordination and control of several projects from inception to completion, with the goal of producing functionally and financially viable projects that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.
+ Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
+ Responsibilities include client communication, consultant coordination, design development, drawing review and contract administration.
+ Managing the production of drawings and reports. Preparing and co-ordinating specifications
+ Supervising and co-ordinating the work of others and co-ordinating work with engineers of other disciplines
+ Working closely with team leader to lead Architectural Design
+ Managing project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget
+ Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team
Minimum Requirements
+ University degree plus 6+ years of experience in Architectural design, planning, coordination and control of several projects.
+ Must be a Licensed Architect with the OAA and/or other Provinces, with OAA eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
+ We are looking for an individual with experience in Institutional, municipal and commercial projects and broad skills in all phases of project delivery.
+ They must have a strong, hands-on technical knowledge, document review, inter-disciplinary coordination and experience in field review and contract administration is essential.
+ They must have Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment and Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
