Apprentice Baker

Job Description

1. Preparation of Ingredients: Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

2. Baking Goods: Operate ovens and other baking equipment to produce a variety of baked products.

3. Recipe Development: Experiment with and develop new recipes or improve existing ones.

4. Quality Control: Monitor the baking process to ensure the quality and appearance of products meet standards.

5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, including ordering when necessary.

6. Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and baking areas, adhering to food safety standards.

7. Customer Service: Occasionally interact with customers, especially in retail settings, to provide information about products.

8. Team Collaboration: Work with other kitchen staff and management to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely service.

#### Qualifications:

- Experience in baking

- Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety regulations.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

- Good physical stamina, as the job may involve lifting heavy bags of flour and standing for long periods.

#### Skills:

- Creativity in developing new recipes and decorating baked goods.

- Time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week

Work Location: In person
