Our head office being located in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal, we know that some of our employees are concerned by the roadwork being carried out in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. Our expectations

Reporting to the Manager, Transportation Optimization, the Analyst, Transportation Optimization is responsible for supporting the Transportation Optimization team in achieving its mandate of driving operational excellence and continuous performance improvement across all regions and transport segments. This role is a national one and incumbent will contribute by publishing and providing analytical insight to the KPI dashboards to the operations teams reporting, analyzing current transportation processes, implementing best practices, and acting as a TMS super-user to the operational teams. The incumbent will require strong analytical and process improvement skills, proficiency in operations systems and their applications, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

Your role
Publish the transportation KPI dashboards and provide analytical insight to the Transportation Operations teams
Support the inbound/outbound, the import and final mile teams with their reporting and analytical needs
Identify improvement initiatives and recommend solutions to drive operational performance, as well as other improvement opportunities for TMS (OTM) and related applications
Maintain TMS (OTM) and other systems\' data, business rules, and parameters
Support the planification optimization process in TMS (OTM)
Provide detailed operational data about the budget planning, forecasting and variance analysis monthly
Work closely with the financial teams to ensure visibility to transportation cost and drive efficiency initiatives
Lead the analysis for various continuous improvement initiatives
Provide analytical support for the different projects
Provide reporting & analytical support for the Operations teams in all segments
Ensure continuous support for the different tools and systems
The qualifications we are looking for
Bachelor\'s degree in business management (operations, logistics, supply chain), engineering (industrial), or a related field
2-3 years of experience in the areas of transportation, logistics, supply chain, or distribution
MS Office - advanced Excel, Access (an asset), PowerPoint
Analytical and communication skills; demonstrated ability to deliver functional analyses
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration at all levels of the organization
Track record of providing high-quality deliverables on time and under pressure

Demonstrated ability to use and/or learn technology solutions such as Transportation Management Systems (TMSs), routing optimization, network modelling, carrier sourcing, and business analytics tools
Experience in the retail industry, large-scale national distributor, or transportation/logistics service provider (an asset)
Experience evolving in a context of transformational change (an asset)
