Job Description

Reporting to the Vice-President, Information Technology, you will play a key role in optimizing and supporting our Oracle Fusion Financial solutions to enhance business processes and deliver exceptional financial reporting and management capabilities. This role requires extensive expertise across the Finance modules of Oracle Fusion, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Tax Management, and Employee Expenses.



Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Configuration

: + Configure and support implemented Oracle Fusion Finance modules to align with business requirements.
+ Design workflows, business processes, and reporting tools for finance functionalities.
+ Ensure seamless integration between Finance modules and other Oracle Fusion modules.

Business Process Analysis

: + Analyze current financial processes and recommend Oracle-driven solutions to enhance efficiency.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.

Accounts Payable (AP)

and

Accounts Receivable (AR)

: + Configure supplier and customer invoicing, payment setups, and aging reports.
+ Support reconciliation processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

General Ledger (GL)

: + Maintain chart of accounts and financial reporting structures.
+ Support period-end and year-end closing processes.

Fixed Assets (FA)

and

Cash Management (CM)

: + Support asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
+ Configure and maintain cash forecasting and reconciliation processes.

Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

: + Support project accounting configurations, cost allocations, and project tracking.

Tax and Compliance

: + Maintain tax configurations, including VAT, GST, and withholding tax setups.
+ Ensure financial systems align with local and international tax regulations.

Employee Expenses

: + Configure expense reporting, approval workflows, and integration with Accounts Payable.

Support and Troubleshooting

: + Resolve system issues, provide end-user training, and develop functional documentation.
+ Work closely with technical teams for customizations and interfaces.
+ Participate in resolving IT tickets related to financial modules.

Qualifications

Degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field. Ten years of experience as an Oracle Functional Analyst specializing in Finance modules. Fluency in French is required, along with a high level of oral English to interact with partners and suppliers outside Quebec. Professional certifications in Oracle Fusion Financials or equivalent are highly desirable. Proven expertise in at least four of the following modules: AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, PPM, Tax, and Expenses. Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and upgrades. Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Financials architecture and integration points. Knowledge of financial reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and FRS. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
