This role supports the Nutrien FP&A team in Finance and reports to the Planning and Forecasting Systems Manager. This is an 18-month secondment.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for completing monthly and annual system administration tasks in our FP&A systems (Hyperion and SAC) including roll forward, actuals loads & validation, budget and forecast processing.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) leads for FP&A system updates including troubleshooting, and minor enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team on data transfers and communicate and resolve minor issues.
  • Maintain Process Documentation & Task lists.
  • Support FP&A System enhancements including participating in prioritization sessions, executing minor enhancements, and ensuring proper user acceptance testing, and governance in data (QA to PROD).
  • Support FP&A report development & maintenance in SAC and SAC Excel based formats.
  • Support the development of a SharePoint strategy and related SharePoint maintenance.
  • Assist in maintaining HANA mapping files and working with IDS for HANA cube maintenance and development.
  • Responsible for identifying continuous improvement opportunities as it relates to core activities.
  • Adhoc work as required including some FP&A activities.
What you will bring:
  • Information Systems related University Degree.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with Finance experience or working towards a finance degree.
  • Strong Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, proficiency in Excel a must
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive, and constructive manner.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starting attitude with a high energy level, demonstrated success in a fast-paced, and deadline driven environment.
  • Systems oriented thinking
  • Ability to work with a variety of technological tools in an efficient manner.
