Shmuel Zahavy Cheder Chabad in Thornhill is currently seeking the following teaching positions for the 2025-2026 school year:
Grade 7 & 8 Middle School Teacher (Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00 pm; optional Fridays 12:00-1:30pm) - 1 position available.
We are seeking creative and innovative educators to join our teaching team for the upcoming school year. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and classroom management skills, and be dedicated to the growth and success of each student.
Our programme follows Ontario Ministry of Education standards, thus a knowledge of curriculum expectations is key. Candidates must have a sensitivity and understanding of Jewish values and religion. OCT certification a plus but not necessary. Option to add 2 hours a day as a tutor available for the right candidiate.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
