Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Before and After School Teacher to join our team. This is a permanent position.

Split shifts for 7am-9am, 2:30pm-5:30pm.

Responsibilities

Ensure a clean and safe environment for children. Provide learning experiences and opportunities to our young children. Establish loving, positive, safe and secure relationships with the children. Nurture to children's individual physical, social-emotional, and mental wellness needs. Connect and engage in collaborative partnerships with fellow educators, colleagues, leaders, families, and the greater community. Prepare, plan, implement and organize activities in-line with the centre's curriculum to support the development of children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical growth. Communicate children's learning development and progress with families/caregivers and colleagues Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities where necessary.

Qualifications

A valid Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) Certificate, ECE Certificate preferred A valid Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR/AED Level B Certificate A clear Criminal Record Check Legally permitted to work in Canada Strong communication skills; good spoken and written in English A high level of responsibility and accountability Commitment and dedication Excellent interpersonal skills. Have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with students, families, and colleagues Minimum 3 years' experience in Before/After School setting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 28 per week
