Administrative Assistant - Property Management. FT or PT

We are a small Property Management Company seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant who will perform all bookkeeping duties as well as act as perform the duties of the Office Administrator. Preference given to candidate with bookkeeping and/or commercial property experience.

We have a Full-Time and Part Time position.

We are a commercial property management and commercial rental company who owns, runs and manages multiple commercial buildings across the east side of Toronto and maintains a quality set of businesses as our clients. Our Head Office is located in Toronto (Leslieville) at Carlaw Ave and Dundas St East, easily accessible by public transit, and/or a free parking spot provided. This is an in-office position. You can choose between 32 and 40 hours weekly being 4 or 5 days per week. We are a small 2-3-person office.

You are both the Administrator and Right-Hand Person to the President/Owner

On the Admin side you will:

  • Prepare tenant documents, and ensure all documents are in order and up to date
  • Document tenant correspondence, including all renovations and repairs
  • Answering and dealing with calls from tenants, prospective tenants and real estate agents.
  • Respond to and liaison with clients/tenants, real estate firms, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Organize & maintain filing, leases, and other confidential material.
  • Schedule move-in/move-out with tenants
  • Show properties from time to time
  • All other administrative duties required
  • You act as the right-hand person to the President / Owner
Qualifications:
  • Able to organize and prioritize is a must
  • Solid computer and MS Office skills, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to write effective emails
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Great customer service skills and enjoys dealing with people
  • The following skills are an asset:
  • Bookkeeping and or accounting experience
  • Able to use our Yardi Breeze Property Management software or have experience with other property management software.
  • Has a car and driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
We Offer:
  • $25 to $30 per hour dependent on experience
  • Choice of a 4- or 5-day work week \xe2\x80\x93 32 to 40 hours
