Your Opportunity
Stantec is looking for an individual to fill an Administrative Assistant role in our Ottawa Office (Clyde Avenue) for office support, safety, and security purposes. The appropriate person will be self-driven and will proactively work with the Office Manager to assess office compliance on safety and security and with Environmental Services to provide administrative support.
Your Key Responsibilities
There are three (3) key areas of responsibility for this role:
Administrative Responsibilities
Provide fully qualified administrative support to Environmental Services for projects and proposals as well as back-up Reception
Organize, attend and minute meetings including the coordination and tracking of action items and deliverables
Create and maintain project plans, schedules and deliverables
Assist with document control including digital filing and archiving
Office Safety and Environment Coordinator (OSEC ) Responsibilities
Work with Management to maintain corporate HSSE policies including filing system, reporting and office inspection
Review and interpret regulations and guidelines
Provide guidance to all Ottawa-based staff on Stantec\'s Health & Safety Policy and practices:
