We are looking for a kind hearted, social and friendly person to join our team at Doug Christie Physiotherapy. The position is a mix of answering phones, making bookings, taking payments, keeping the clinic clean, laundry and also assisting our physiotherapists with their clients (cleaning rooms, helping bring things to them, taking clients off machines/hot packs etc). The perfect applicant is one that can work independently, multi-task and is a great socializer with our clients as you are an important piece of the client's impression and experience at the clinic.
Experience at a small business is an asset but not required. We will provide all training/on the job required (it usually takes a couple weeks until we can leave you alone and a few months to really feel comfortable).
Assets would be computer skills, cash handling/POS machine, end of day's, experience with the Jane software we use and the ability to speak french/english
It is a mix of mid-day and afternoon-evening shifts and would be somewhere in the 25-35 hours/week range and availability for more from time to time.
The position is permanent and we hope the person we hire will stay with us for years to come.
It isn't a position that is going to make you rich but it is a nice position where you will get to work in a 'reasonably' relaxed atmosphere and meet a lot of great people (including our great staff).
