In this role, you will:

provide administrative support services by coordinating meetings, workshops and travel arrangements for staff. maintain calendar of appointments for the manager. prepare reports, correspondence, memoranda, graphics, charts, financial/ statistical reports and spreadsheets. provide customer service to external and internal clients. maintain the security of files, archiving files and records according to approved retention. provide financial administration support through processing financial transactions (e.g. preparing reports). provide administrative support for human resources related procedures.

proficiency with computers and software programs such as word-processing, database, email, internet, presentation and spreadsheets. the ability to operate and maintain general office equipment. knowledge of office administrative procedures and purchasing.

the ability to make decisions, determine appropriate action, reconcile reports, resolve discrepancies, and investigate alternatives. the ability to obtain knowledge and interpret relevant legislation, collective agreements, financial and human resource policies and procedures. math skills to review invoices and claims, and resolve discrepancies.
