Answer general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Respond to general requests for information in an accommodating manner
Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, and couriered parcels
Sort/prioritize incoming mail, voice mail, and emails, and forward to appropriate staff
Prepare and proofread reports and documents using Microsoft 365
Code and file material according to the established procedures
Provide support to the Executive Director
Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment
Must be proficient with Excel and Quick Books!
Bookkeeping responsibilities:
Administer, record and report petty cash transactions according to established procedures
Prepare invoices and cheques for payments
Process payments in office and at events
Process payroll, remittance of Gov't source deductions, GST Returns, T4 Summary Returns
Track monthly income and expenses
Reconcile monthly bank statements
Draft monthly financial reports and statements
