The Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS\xc2\xae (NSAR) is the voice of real estate in Nova Scotia. They are the professional association for over 2,000 REALTORS\xc2\xae across the province. They empower members by providing leading edge tools, education, outstanding services, and active advocacy.

We are excited to partner with NSAR in looking for an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their growing team in Dartmouth. Someone with is organized and client-focused will thrive in this great role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage accounts payable
  • Invoice review and entry
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Running EFT payments and cheque runs
  • Month-end support
  • Manage accounts receivable (includes high volume of data entry)
  • Prepare trial balance for accounts receivable and prepare bank reconciliations
  • Conduct banking
  • Invoice clients
  • Conduct credit and collections
  • Maintain filing and record systems and perform general office duties
  • Address customers\' complaints or concerns
  • Prepare reports
  • Other related duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Post-secondary education in accounting
  • 2 - 3 years\' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with software programs and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Proficiency in iMIS and Sage software is an asset
  • Adaptable and flexible work ethic
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Positive personality and outgoing approach
  • Proven ability to work with a high level of autonomy
  • Professional communication skills
