Kernaghan Adjusters Ltd. is a well-established professional independent insurance adjusting firm with branch offices across Canada.
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a six week period.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this entry-level position is in our Head Office in downtown Vancouver.
Responsibilities:
Apply cheques & EFT payments to invoices in Sage 300.
Export AR invoices from KEA and import into Sage.
Contact examiners for outstanding accounts receivable invoices for collection on assigned accounts.
Reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure all bank transactions are accounted for in Sage.
Enter Trust payments in Sage and issue payment.
Provide support to the Director of Finance.
Providing ad hoc duties and general administrative assistance.
Qualifications:
Recent graduate or student pursuing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft: Excel, Outlook and Word.
Working knowledge of Sage 300ERP is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Must be a flexible and adaptable team player.
