Job Description

Robert Half has a client looking for an Accounts Receivable professional to join their growing company. This is a fully remote position based in the Ottawa region.

Responsibilities:

-Work with customer-facing personnel to collect information needed to set up new customers in the system

-Work with customer-facing personnel to create accurate invoices for customers that elect to be manually billed, and send invoices to the customers

-Regularly evaluate the accounts receivable aging and follow-up with customers to ensure payment is made or services are terminated

-Contact past-due customers to pursue invoice collection

-Record cash activity in Dynamics AX related to credit card billing activity on a daily basis

-Prepare monthly journal entries related to accounts receivable as part of monthly close

Qualifications:

-Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance

-3+ Years accounts receivable experience

-Strong core accounting software and MS Excel capabilities

-Strong Communication Skills

-Problem Solving

-Highly organized and self-motivated
