Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Montreal

Salary: up to $60,000 depending on salary

Are you looking to work in a stable and positive environment? Are you an experienced seeking a fresh challenge? If so, our client is looking for a skilled and extremely talented Accounts Receivable Specialist for its Montreal-based headquarters.

May include but not limited to...

• Responsible for timely collection activities and all collections correspondence reducing delinquency
• Send statement to outstanding customers followed by default letters when delinquency persists
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues and inquiries
• Maintain good standing of A/R as a whole
• Identify and execute the necessary adjustments so that all transactions are properly posted
• Conduct month-end account reconciliations making sure A/R balances to G/L
• Ensures all records are properly filed
• Execute monthly A/R reporting to executive
• Prepare various bank reconciliations and documentations for month end and year end

To land this role you will need

• Bilingualism (French/English), both spoken and written
• DEC or DEP in Accounting or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of A/R experience within a fashion related company (preferred)
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite; Momentis a strong asset
• Organized, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Adept in full AR cycle; proven success in client relations
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail
