Job Description

Accounts Receivable (A/R) professionals looking to grow with a thriving company will be interested in this position. This dynamic organization with a noteworthy compensation & benefits package is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Brampton, Ontario. To succeed in this hybrid career opportunity, you will need to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This role calls for an AR professional that has well rounded experience within accounts receivable, having demonstrated knowledge within credit, collections and payment applications.

About the Role:

• Responsible for determining and monitoring the credit worthiness of new and existing customers
• Manage the collections process including providing updates on aging analysis
• Resolve AR disputes and discrepancies by working directly with customers to address outstanding issues
• Perform month end reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in AR account balances and sub ledger
• Daily payment posting of cash receipts

Requirements

About You

• Exceptional communication skills and customer service centric attitude
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision making/problem solving skills
• 3+ years of experience in a similar accounts receivable role
• Experience with ERP is required as well as demonstrated knowledge of reporting & analysis
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, good listener, and able to synergize the team
