Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent accounts receivable clerk. You'll perform a variety of accounts receivable duties as well as answering internal and external inquiries relating to employer accounts and miscellaneous receivables. If you enjoy working with numbers, working with tight deadlines, reconciling payments, and managing receivables, consider applying for this great opportunity.

At this time, this is a hybrid position where you will work primarily at our Richmond office - at least 3 to 4 days/week.

What you'll do

As an accounts receivable clerk you will:

  • Accurately process and reconcile payments
  • Manage non-assessment receivables
  • Perform daily, detailed reconciliation of accounts
  • Update, record, and maintain various computer filing systems
  • Track all assessment and non-assessment revenue payments
  • Maintain complex spreadsheets to compile and summarize financial data
  • Compose memos and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Balance, record, and maintain daily petty cash
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payments and payment procedures

Your experience and educational background:
  • Completion of grade 12
  • Able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
