Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Industry Sector: Civil Construction & Industrial Services
Salary: $53,000 - $58,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
Location: Kamloops, BC In-Office

Our client is an award-winning full-service civil construction & industrial services company. They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing team.

Under direction of the Controller, the candidate will have an aptitude for numbers, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills, be a team player, and can work well under pressure while multitasking. Must be willing to follow directions & work diligently as part of the accounting department.

About the role
The Accounts Receivable Clerk duties will include but not be limited to:

• Process AR invoicing and record AR receipts for their group of companies.
• Work with operating team to generate timely and correct invoices in the accounting software.
• Pull information from FieldCap to generating invoicing.
• Prepare AR aging reports, analyze AR aging and collection issues.
• Learn and follow client invoicing practices.
• Review the current AR listing for accuracy, at a minimum, monthly.
• Collect and analyze information when discrepancies are noted.
• Manage AR e-mails, respond to customer inquiries and prepare client reporting as required and manage customer information in accounting software.

About the candidate:

• 1-3 years accounting or AR experience is an asset
• Familiar with general accounting principles
• Experience with Accounting Software SAGE 300 Construction & Real Estate is an asset.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Superior telephone manners, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Fast/Accurate data entry skills
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines and pressure
