We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in these areas and demonstrated leadership skills for future opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

Processes accounts receivable and revenue collection functions, including preparing, printing, and posting invoices in QuickBooks, following up on outstanding invoices and administering collection Bank reconciliation, Payroll remittance Filing, Year-end adjustments, Weekly Payroll, WSIB premium reporting, and office filing Experience with QuickBooks for general contractors; create quotes & sales invoices Ensures completeness and accuracy of all accounts receivable databases and files, including monthly, periodic, and annual reconciliation of control accounts Record keeping of supplier invoices and reconcile invoices and payments to maintain financial accuracy Makes recommendations for continual process improvements and ensures that procedures are documented Responds to inquiries from customers via telephone & email Performs other related ad-hoc duties as required by Office Manager

Education and Experience

QuickBooks Online: 1 year of experience preferred Previous experience working at a general contracting company preferred Knowledge and advanced skills in Excel Full hands-on MS Office applications, Office 365 Accounts receivables and Accounts Payable experience and expertise 3 - 5 years experience
Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
