Role Summary



We are seeking an

Accounts Payable

to join our accounting team. This

on-site

role supports the accounting department in managing daily financial activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic real estate and property management environment.

Key Responsibilities:



General data entry and document filing (invoices, expenses, contracts). Prepare and issue customer invoices. Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including monthly rent collections Perform Accounts Payable functions - enter P.O.s and invoices in QuickBooks, and prepare weekly cheque runs. Report on the status of Accounts Payable and Receivable. Maintain and update general ledgers. Prepare and post journal entries. Reconcile and balance accounts. Process bank deposits and maintain daily cash flow analysis. Assist with financial reporting and ensure accuracy of accounting records. Provide administrative support to management as required. Perform outside office tasks such as supplier pick-ups, bank deposits, and purchasing office supplies. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



Post-secondary education in Accounting or a Business-related field (Canadian institution preferred). 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience. Minimum 1 year of QuickBooks experience. Solid understanding of financial reporting principles. Experience in Real Estate Development or Property Management is an asset. Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Valid G Driver's Licence preferred.
