Your mission

As part of the finance team, as a technician account payable, your mission is to ensure the accounting and administrative tasks related to the efficient management and processing of accounts payable transactions.


Your daily routine


----------------------


Receive invoices, codifies, and enter them into accounting system



Organize and archive the relevant accounts, such as receipts and account statements



Ensure the obtention of the approval of associate directors, invoices, statements of account, expense reports within the required deadlines



Communicate with centers, suppliers and managers to keep records up to date



Verify the accuracy invoices received, obtains relevant information and makes the necessary corrections



Periodically prepare a trial balance of accounts payables



Reconcile the statements of account received from suppliers with our records



Prepares checks and transfers for payments on weekly and monthly basis



Answer questions by suppliers and solve problems related to accounts and payments



Produce some reports and prepares some analyses and prepare various end reports for the audit completion period



Maintain the general ledger and help with monthly journal entries



Participate in period-end ad year end procedures (Allocations, GL reconciliation, accruals, inter company, etc.)



Fulfill any other task related to the position


Your experience

Hold a professional (DEP) or any other relevant training



Minimum three years of relevant experience in a similar position



Bilingual French and English spoken and written (Mandatory)



Very good knowledge of the SAGE accounting system and the CONCUR system (asset)



Intermediate level of Excel and knowledge of the Suite Microsoft is required



Demonstrated ability to work in a team, analysis skills and likes to learn



Great ease with communication and excellent customer service skills



Autonomous and good organizational skills



Detail-oriented and methodical

permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week


Schedule:

Monday to Friday day shift (Hybrid/ possibility for remote)


Salary:
