Accounts Payable Technician, Full-Time

If you are well versed in working with financial statements, reconciliations, month-end stuff (that\'s what us non-accounting people say), and all the other voodoo number magic things you like to do, we want to chat. Like, right now.

What you\'ll be doing

• Produce accurate and timely entry of vendor payable invoices
• Complete monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and follow up as needed
• Prepare and process payments to vendors
• Prepare monthly invoice verifications
• Resolve discrepancies with relevant parties related to accounts payable
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and dealers
• Working with the team to ensure policies and processes are adhered to
• Account reconciliations and month-end duties

What you need:

• College Diploma or equivalent experience related to accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Working towards a CPA would be considered an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, energetic, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Well organized, assertive, diplomatic, and detail oriented with accuracy in all functions of the role
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software is an asset (not a requirement, any experience with accounting software is an asset)
