Motor Rewind Technician \xe2\x80\x93 Saskatoon, SK

Our client is a premiere motor shop located in the north industrial of Saskatoon and has been selling and servicing electric motors and pumps for some of Saskatchewan\'s largest industrial businesses and municipalities since 2003. They are seeking a driven individual whose skill set and knowledge would be an asset. Salary: $40 \xe2\x80\x93 $50 per hour depending on skills

Skills and Abilities:

• Rewind AC & DC motors
• Experience in electrical motors and repairs
• Familiar with general diagnostics and maintenance of motors
• Crane and forklift operation
• Critical thinking and decision making
• Comfortable with precision measurement tools
• Strong safety awareness
• Able to work with others and independently
• Oral communication and problem solving
• Ability to learn new skills
• Preference given to individuals with medium voltage form coil experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wind, assemble and install various types of coils
• Working with armatures, stators, generators, transformers, switchgear, pumps and other electro-mechanical equipment
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing
• Troubleshoot and repairs of electric motors
• Might include on-site servicing and repair
• Other varied assignments
