Job #4839 - Our client, a stable and growing company with a fantastic work environment, is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a 9-month maternity leave contract with a strong possibility of being permanent and/or increasing to full-time. Reporting to the Controller and CFO, the ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability for accuracy and completeness. They must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment and be flexible to take on new responsibilities as they evolve. The main responsibilities include:
Process and reconcile invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments
Manage subcontract and holiday payments
Analyze and allocate expenses to correct accounts and cost centres
Monitor vendor discounts and handle payment discrepancies
Maintain and update accounting ledgers and vendor records
Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues

Post-secondary education in finance and/or accounting
Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
Full-cycle AP experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Assets:
Jonas Premier or Yardi Breeze system experience
Project accounting experience
Construction/real estate industry experience
How You Will Be Rewarded:
$60,000 $70,000 annual salary
25 - 30 hours a week
