:We are in search of an experienced Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist to become an integral part of a growing team. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment where they can roll up their sleeves and assist in automating the full cycle AP process fully utilizing Netsuite software. You will bring excellent internal and external communication skills as you will be required to communicate extensively with internal stakeholders and vendors. The successful candidate will be stationed 100% onsite in Burnaby, British Columbia ~ very transit accessible location. This is a 3-month temporary contract with a great chance of being considered longer-term for the right fit.Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently process approximately 70-100 customer credit applications per week

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Handle account, expense reconciliations, accruals and month-end close activities

• Manage AP monthly close duties with the goal of closing the books within a seven-day timeframe

• Communicate effectively with internal business partners and vendors, majority of whom are in the US with some in Vienna

• Utilize Netsuite ERP and Excel for operational purposes, including working with MS Excel (pivot tables and lookups level required)

• Understand and execute full cycle AP operations, communicate with internal stakeholders and vendors

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-cycle Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar is required.

• Proficiency in Account Coding

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting

• Expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Expense Reconciliation

• Proficiency in using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is strongly preferred
