Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator - Opportunity for Advancement
Location: Lachine, Hybrid
Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 based on experience

The ideal candidate has solid accounting skills and great communication skills to advance into a team leadership role in the future.:- Taking charge of the full cycle accounts payable processes
- Monitoring and managing accounts payable communications
- Issuing cheques and electronic payments for both national and international suppliers
- Performing credit card and other account reconciliations
- Participating in month-end analyzes, adjustments and ensuring accurate and month-end closing meeting deadlines
- Identifying areas of improvement and participating in processes to optimize accounts payable procedures
- Effectively managing communications with external suppliers, stakeholders, and various departments
- Executing various other related tasks to support full cycle account payableQualifications:- At least 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable
- Any formal education in accounting is considered a strong asset
- Bilingual communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers internationally
- Good basic skills in MS Office
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
