About the role :
Reporting to the Senior Accounts Payable Administrator (or their delegate), the successful candidate will be responsible of receiving and processing invoices in accordance with standard procedures for Accounts payable.

More specifically, you will be expected to :
  • Entering invoices and ensuring the content of processed invoices respects the company\xe2\x80\x99s internal controls;
  • Making invoice payments by cheque and electronic funds transfer;
  • Following up weekly on all unpaid invoices and working with internal clients to secure payment;
  • Verifying and obtaining authorization for any discrepancies in prices over authorized limit, quantity received and freight charges;
  • Being responsible for the input of recurring/monthly payments (i.e., lease commitments, utilities and other miscellaneous services) on a timely basis and maintenance of these files;
  • Monitoring accounts payable statements;
  • Responding to suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 requests regarding invoices;
  • Maintaining an excellent level of service to internal and external clients;
  • Assisting with external and internal audit functions through invoice retrieval as required;
  • Complete any other tasks related to this position.
Do you have what it takes?
  • A diploma in college studies in Administration with a specialty in accounting;
  • Relevant experience in accounts payable;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software;
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and work autonomously;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with others who are working remotely.
Language : Bilingual (French / English) would be an asset.
