Reporting into the Controller, the Accounting Supervisor, is responsible for the consolidation of financial information across the region, while managing a team of accounting technicians and analysts.

• Work closely with location operations teams, to understand their operating costs, and drive profitability
• Recommend and participate in the implementation of improvement measures where necessary
• Provide analysis of regular operating costs on a monthly basis
• Provide meaningful analysis of both direct and indirect production costs to management.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing
• Advise collaborating departments on general accounting and financial reporting systems, policies, procedures and requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Diploma with equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in accounting in a supervisory capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of full cycle accounting.
• Fluent in French and English
• Person having an attention to detail, analytical mind and self-starter attitude
