Job Description

King Cole Kitchens is a division of King Cole Ducks LTD, the only fully vertically integrated farm of its kind in North America. Our duck products are sold fresh and local to our community, and are featured in retail food stores, butcher shops, and delis across North America. We also serve restaurants, resorts, hotels, and cruise lines around the world. Each year King Cole produces approximately 2.5 million ducks to create our delicious lines of Ready-to-Cook and Fully Cooked duck products.



King Cole Kitchens is a federally inspected food processing facility that produces ready to eat products. Our primary business is producing fully cooked, ready to eat duck products for King Cole Ducks, but we also operate as a co-packer for other meat producers/suppliers.



Job Summary



The

Accounting & Sales Support Administrator

is responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inside sales support, and general office duties. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and provides critical support to multiple departments, including backup for Accounts Payable at King Cole Ducks in Stouffville.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Reports to: General Manager

Location: 1188 Gorham Street, Unit A, Newmarket, ON L3Y 8W4

Salary range: $58,000 - $65,000

Key Responsibilities



Financial Accuracy & Integrity

Proficient in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Maintains accurate records of customer accounts and transactions. Reviews, processes, and reconciles invoices and payments. Carries out audit and control measures in collaboration with A/P at King Cole Ducks.
Inside Sales Support

Responds promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email. Prepare quotes, process orders, and confirm delivery schedules. Builds strong relationships with customers and adapts to their needs. Coordinate with production and shipping teams to ensure order accuracy.
Administrative Duties

Manage office communications, filling systems, and data entry. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as needed. Maintain office supply stock and reordering.
Other duties

Perform other duties as assigned and assist other departments as needed.

Requirements



Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and administrative roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
