Job Description

Robert Half is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance, and business systems professionals.

Our client is currently seeking an Accounting Manager for a 4-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of financial data and systems, developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.

The Accounting Managers duties will include:

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing the accounting operations and month end close activity

\xc2\xb7 Preparation of financial reports for multiple entities

\xc2\xb7 Performing the analysis and review of operations

\xc2\xb7 Spearhead the automation of processes

\xc2\xb7 Assist with system implementation of expense software

\xc2\xb7 Review processes and identify opportunities for improvement

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as required

The ideal Accounting Manager will have the following skills and experience:

\xc2\xb7 A recognized accounting designation (CPA or ACCA) or equivalent working experience

\xc2\xb7 Experience performing reporting in accordance with not-for-profit accounting standards

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience automating processes and systems

\xc2\xb7 Working experience with Sages 50

\xc2\xb7 Superior oral and written communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Advanced level Microsoft Excel

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills for problem solving, leadership, and organizational skills
