We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager with proven managerial & accounting experience to work in our Montreal office as part of our growing Finance team (Hybrid is a possibility for future). Our ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, good judgement to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities, and an ability to accurately report financial data to Executive Management. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for managing a team of analysts and leading the financial reporting, analysis, compliance and aid in setting policy and procedure within the Finance team for the Logix ITS brands. You will be responsible for:

• Management: 1-2 years managerial experience preferred. Candidate capable of working with and motivating a team of Accountants / Financial Analysts
• Accounting: Managing day-to-day accounting operations. This includes AR, AP, Intercompany, cost accounting, and more.
• Financial Reporting: Ensuring timely and accurate US GAAP compliant financial reporting on set schedules due to necessary parties such as investors, bankers, and upper management
• Audit: Assist with the annual audit process, satisfying requirements from independent financial auditors, as well as deliverable objectives with banking and investing partners, and upper management.
• Budgetary Analysis: Ability to reconcile variances between actual and budget through summarized, clear and concise communication.
• Treasury: Assist the treasury management of the company. This includes cash forecasting, supplier/AP payments, oversight on collections and DSO, banking management and reporting, etc.
• Annual Plan: Assist with the annual financial plan. This includes running the modeling, understanding the various areas of depth (departmental, assumptions, underlying trends, etc), and all other facets included.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience of progressing Accounting and Finance experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central preferred
• In-office or hybrid model of attendance required
• Ability to boil down concepts, trends, financial results into simple visual presentations
• Financial and analytical skills including experience creating complex financial models and efficiently communicating results
• Ability to be a positive, engaging managerial presence in the department
