Hard Rock Developments is in the concrete supplies and steel manufacturing business. We are looking for someone to manage our accounting department. A motivated individual that wants to contribute to the company\'s success, is truly a team player, and holds a positive work environment in high regard for him/herself and others. The ideal candidate has experience in full cycle accounting, preferably in retail and manufacturing environment. Given a successful 2-3 month probation period, and finding to be a good fit within the Hard Rock culture and environment, the individual would take over the accounting department responsibilities. Responsibilities would eventually include some or all for the functions listed below. Experience in every function is not a necessity, but candidate must be willing to learn. -Experience required with QuickBooks and bookkeeping -Above average competency in Microsoft office -Payroll experience with hourly and salaried employees. -AP and AR experience and skill sets -Comfortable dealing with vendors and customers with AP and AR -Completing deposits, cash deposits -Invoicing -Manufacturing accounting -Class reporting in quick books -Producing weekly sales reports -Provide accurate and timely monthly/year-end financial reporting. -Issuing customer statements -Reconciling vendor statements -General admin duties and/or other accounting functions as required -HR experience an asset The job is best suited for: -An individual with a great work ethic -Someone looking to advance their career, grow with our company, and wants the opportunity to work into a position with full accounting responsibilities.
