Position: Accounting Manager
Location: West Island
Salary: Up to $140K

Tasks:
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and reports to shareholders
- Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profits against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improving the planning process
- Merge financial data following an acquisition
- Supervise the preparation of monthly and year-end schedules
- Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Supervise the monthly balance sheet analysis
- Set up monthly analysis of specific accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts
- Present the monthly results with explanations for major variances
What you need to succeed in this role:
- University degree with a CPA designation
- Autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit
- Creativity and good communication skills
- Bilingualism to communicate with head office located in Vancouver
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent sense of responsibility and analytical skills
